So the 6th season of the roadies is in front of us. This year in Roadies a major change was made when in the auditions along with Raghu Ram, his twin brother Rajiv Lakshman interviewed the candidates. Facing Raghu in the interview round is like a nightmare to the aspirants due to his sharp tongue and bitter comments. And this time the situation was like a hell.
Apart from this few more changes have been done in the format of the show as the number of Roadies have been increased to 20 instead of 13. Since last year Roadies has become international; last year it was Bangkok, Malaysia and Thailand and this year Roadies will go to Australia where they will face the poisonous snakes, spiders, crocodiles etc.
Participants
The 20 selected participants of this season are:
1) Samrat Kaushal
This 23 year old boy is from Punjab. He got selected in Ahmedabad. He has an Army background. He is a good singer. He has also participated in the music reality show- Fame X of Sab TV. Apart from singing he is inclined towards many physical activities like swimming, lawn tennis, athletics etc. He impressed the judges with his determined and passionate nature. He does not give up easily.2) Devarshi Patel
He is 21 years old. He got selected from Ahmedabad. He is on Roadies because of his cool nature and great confidence. He has full confidence in himself. What ever you will say to him, nothing will shake his confidence. He is very much self obsessed. He is lost in his own world. On the auditions judges called him Darsheel of Taare Zamin Par.

He is 18 years old. He got selected from Ahmedabad. Last year also he auditioned for Roadies but can’t get in to it. This year he has improved a lot, even the judges observed the difference. He is determined and loves challenges.
4) Bhanu Pratap Singh
He is also18 year old boy. When he entered for auditions he was looking different but the judges changed his hair style; so when he came back he was looking very different. Judges found nothing special in him but their feeling was that he might be more interesting in the Roadies journey so they selected him in Ahmedabad.5) Timung Longkiri
He is 25 years old. What is characteristic about him; it is his very long hairs. He in fact lifted up some loads with his hairs on the auditions. He has auditioned for roadies many times before and finally his never- say- die attitude brought him to the final list of roadies this year. He calls himself bit foolish and so wants to be on the show to give more variety to the characters of the Roadies. He got selected from Kolkatta.
6) Varisha Hawelia
She is 19 plus (as said by her). She is a student of journalism. She got selected from Kolkatta. While on auditions her answers were totally different from what she wrote on the form. She is extremely confident and isn’t scared of anything.7) Paulami De
She is 28 years old. She is from Bengal. She is a model. She is good dancer too and while on auditions she performed on the song Kiss Me Baby from the movie- Garam masala. According to her, she is very straight forward and broad minded. She got selected in Kolkatta. 8) Gurmeet Kaur
She is 19 years old. She is basically from Chandigarh but presently she is living in Banglore. She is a model. During the auditions the judges found her too much talkative and with less brains. But she totally denies this. She is on this show to show her worth. She was selected in Banglore Auditions. 9) Nauman
He is 21 years old. He got selected in Banglore. He auditioned with his twin brother Salman. The audition phase was like Twin v/s Twin. Both brothers wanted to be together on the show but judges were clear that they will select only one out of the two. Nauman’s brother Salman was sure that he will be selected but judges selected Nauman as the Roadie.10) Sonia Chauhan
She is 20 years old. She is tomboy type. She is basically from Kinnaur, Shimla. Presently she is living in Chandigarh to pursue her studies. She is doing Mass Communication and Economics simultaneously. She has her own views regarding live in relationships and one nightstand; according to the judges what is convenient to her is right for her. She got selected from Chandigarh.11) Tammana
She is 19 years old and is from Chandigarh. She is doing BDS. She speaks in a very unique style, rolls her tongue while talking. She got selected from Chandigarh.12) Ankur Khanduja
He is 20 years old and is from Panchkula. One peculiar thing about him is that, when he talks he moves his hands. He is very insecure and considers himself a complete looser. He wants to prove himself through this show. He got selected from Chandigarh.13) Natasha Sinha
She is 23 years old. She is from Panchkula and got selected from Chandigarh. She is doing a job in a call centre. She is on Roadies to be got noticed.14) Neha Kapoor
She is 20 years old. She is from Mumbai. She is an air- hostess. She is well confident and doesn’t care about the world. She has a positive attitude even in the adverse conditions. She got selected from Delhi.
15) Bobby Chopra
She is also 20 years old. She is pursuing her BA. through correspondence. She is from Delhi. She is firm on her point whatever the situation is. She got selected from Delhi.16) Pradeep Singh
He is the 1st Sardaar ever to be a Roadie. He is from Panchkula. According to him; one bad thing about him is that he is a seasoned gambler, used to gamble on games. And one good thing about him is that he looks quite innocent so the chances of him getting voted out in the show by the other roadies are less and so it’s an advantage for him. His strategy is to perform well in the tasks. He got selected from Delhi.
17) Roop Bhinder
She was the runner up in the Roadies Battleground. She is 22 years old and is from Patiala. She has a dazzling smile. She has already done many crazy things to prove her worth like putting cow dung on her face etc. She got selected from Delhi. 18) Sandeep
When you will look at him, the first thing you will notice is his sweet smile. Judges too called him a cute face with sweet smile. He is 19 years old and is from Delhi. While auditioning the judges found him bit over confident. He got selected from Delhi. 19) Suzanna Mukharjee
She is 21 years old. She is from Pune. She is half Indian and half Russian. She knows many languages. During her auditions judges asked her to abuse in 6 different languages. She also sang a song in Russian. She also showed her dancing skills. Her dance also impressed the judges. She got selected from Mumbai.

He is 24 years old. He is basically from Delhi but is currently living in Mumbai. He is model cum actor. During his audition phase he had a big clash with the judges and they threw him out. Then he apologized and they interviewed him for the 2nd time and this time he convinced them to take him in to the show. He got selected from Mumbai.
