Zee TV’s serial- Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyan has reached to almost similar story line as it was few months back- Meneka ( Surkant Garodia’s 2nd wife) is trying to be favorite of her husband like before and to sideline Surkant’s 1st wife- Savitri and Bhavishya ( Surkant’s eldest daughter Saraswati’s 1st husband) is back to take the revenge from the Garodia family. If anything is new in the serial that is the new Lakshmi- Gunjan Walia. (Lakshmi is Suryakant’s youngest daughter from his 1st wife)
Gunjan Walia has entered the serial on 31st March this year. She was introduced one day prior to 1st April so that the viewers didn’t take it as a prank. Twinkle Bajpai left the serial due to some disputes with the serial makers. Both parties accused each other for all this. Whatever may be the reason the truth is Gunjan Walia is the new Lakshmi in the serial.
The news of Twinkle’s replacement was a big shock for her fans. She portrayed the role of Lakshmi so well that still she is known as Lakshmi rather than Twinkle in many homes. In the serial too the main focus was on the youngest daughter of the Garodia family who was not accepted by her father.
She was made the boldest among all her sisters who was always ready to raise a voice against any injustice done to her sisters and mother so the tension between Lakshmi and Suryakant was always on full swing.
Twinkle portrayed this character very brilliantly. As the story demands she was lively, confident and the bold Lakshmi where as with Gunjan’s entry as the new Lakshmi in the show the character has become very sensitive and delicate types.
There is no doubt that Gunjan is a good actress and slowly- slowly she will establish herself as the new Lakshmi. With the time the viewers too got adapted to this new Lakshmi. Our best wishes are with her.
